My doodles are intended for use in your own PERSONAL projects. You may not use doodles for commercial purposes or monetary gain.

My illustrations may not appear in any type of items for sale or distribution, even if you are distributing for free. Please do not share or swap the image files with others. Please do not use illustrations to decorate blogs, websites, or social media accounts as this makes them available for others to download.

Educators: You may use my doodles in curriculum-based materials and other items in YOUR OWN CLASSROOM setting, as well as in brochures, signs, flyers, and other informational materials to promote school activities and events.

Since doodling is not my "real job", I never know how much time I'll have to draw during the week. In general, I do not take on requests for custom work - just so I don't end up making people wait.

But I do keep a running list of suggestions and ideas I receive. So if there's something you'd like to have that isn't in my shop, I'd love to hear what you're thinking!

Note that doodle listings consist of "ZIP" files that you may need to "unzip" after downloading to access your images. On a Mac computer, you can unzip them by just double-clicking on the downloaded file. Some Mac OS versions unzip downloaded files automatically. If you're using a Windows computer or a mobile device, you may need to install an app or software that can open the files.

PNG stands for Portable Network Graphic. It is a common file format supported by a variety of different image editors and other software applications. PNG images are extremely versatile, and can be used for all kinds of creative projects, both digital and physical.

The transparent background of a PNG image is perfect for layering into digital pages and compositions with text and other images. It will blend right into your work with no white edges or background to get in the way.

You can make PNG images as small as you like with no loss in quality, and also scale them up slightly. There are limits to how much you can enlarge them before you'll start to see graininess and pixelation.

Each listing includes pre-cropped sticker pages for the GoodNotes5 iPad app. Download the ".goodnotes" file from your order, then use the import function in the app to add it to your notebook collection. You can import it as a new notebook, or as a new page in an existing notebook.

Then use your Lasso or Image tool to select, copy, paste, resize, rotate, rearrange, and reuse your doodles to your hearts' content :)

Note that if you are not a GoodNotes user, you don't need to download this file.

Each set comes with a printable PDF laid out as shown in the preview. But since my doodles are created with digital planning in mind, this file may not be perfectly suited to your planner.

If you have a basic image editing program and a little bit of technical know-how, you can use the included print-quality PNG images to make your own printable pages of custom-sized stickers, scrapbook embellishments, and other fun personal crafts. I can also do this for you by request :)

In addition to being handy for digital notebooks, PNG files are compatible with most apps that handle images, including:
image editors - Adobe, GIMP, etc.
document editors - MS Word, Pages for Mac, etc.
cutting systems - Cricut, Silhouette, etc.
and many others!

I often add doodles to existing sets. My wonderful customers make such great suggestions!! And sometimes, even I have a bright idea for a perfect new doodle for a set :)

If a set you've purchased already has been updated, and you'd like to have the new images, I am HAPPY to post an updated download on my website for you free of charge.

Please do send me a note instead of re-purchasing - even if it's more expensive than when you bought it originally. It's your reward for being an early-adopter!

DoodleBug doodles can be used for many different fun and creative projects, both digital and physical.

Unfortunately, it's hard to provide instructions or technical assistance for all the different possibilities, not to mention the infinite variety of computers, software, devices, printers, and apps out there.

To be safe, make sure you are comfortable with the right software for handling the included files before you make a purchase. Once you have downloaded the files from an order, refunds are no longer possible.

If you get stuck, there are many wonderful tutorials on the internet made by generous and creative people. You’re sure to find some help and inspiration out there!
